If you are a retired teacher, administrator, or support staff and are part of the Wisconsin Retirement System or if you simply support public education, we invite you to join our organization.
We encourage you to join the statewide organization, Wisconsin Retired Educators' Association, which you can read more about at www.WREA.net. It is the only organization dedicated to protecting WRS pensions. It also monitors all legislation that affects public education in the state. Annual dues are $50.00.
We urge you to join our local unit for only $10.00 annually, which goes toward supporting the two annual scholarships we award to area graduating seniors as well as the operations of our unit. We meet the second Thursday of every month at 11:00 a.m. at the West Wind Supper Club at 709 N. Main Street in River Falls.
