About Us

About Our Local WREA Chapter

Wisconsin Retired Educators' Association

The state organization represents all Wisconsin retired educator groups--teachers in public elementary and secondary schools, technical colleges, and universities; administrators, business officials, CESA, and special education administrators; and all employees in public education--bus drivers, teacher's aides, cafeteria workers, maintenance workers, and all others.  It also supports innovative programs in Wisconsin's public schools, provides local scholarships to students, grants to public school teachers, and recognizes outstanding teachers in the state.

River Falls Area REA

Our local chapter invites all those listed above, but also the spouses of WRS members, active education employees, and friends of Wisconsin public education.  RFArea REA provides opportunities for members to
  • enjoy non-partisan association with active retirees at luncheon meetings, informational and recreational programs, and volunteer involvement
  • keep informed about public education, pension funds, and living well in retirement through communication networks, state and local publications, and presentations by professionals in related fields
  • have a voice in local, state, and national matters affecting our schools and our retired educators.
